COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 500ml bottles and in 5l & 20l boxes.
NOTR: Although named as "Thistly Cross Traditional Cider" on the producer’s website, that word "Traditional" does not appear on the bottles.
Our Satisfying Session Cider has the same smooth flavour as the Original but with a lower ABV. A good full body with a refreshing sparkling mouthfeel. Fruity & aromatic, golden in the glass, with a clean apple finish. A perfect session cider.

Far too sweet and fizzy more of an alcopop than a cider, one half pint may be ok, but any more and it becomes sickly. Poorest cider tasted in a long time and thats since the launch of cidre.

[6435-20140703] Box sample. Fruity light apple aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with no head. Very fruity sweet apple flavour with a light sweet aftertaste. Light body. Good, simple, a bit like juice. (6/2/7/3-/12) 3.0

Bottle from the producer’s own stand at the Good Food Show at Birmingham NEC. Gold in hue. On the sweet side but crisp fresh apples just about manage to balance the sweetness. Quite light and refreshing in the mouth but I wonder if after a few of these (or if it got too warm) the sweetness wpuld become too much. Nevertheless not a bad little easy-drinker.

Live Rating: 330ml bottle left over from a party, served chilled in a small chalice. Pale golden colour, mild carbonation. Sweet apple flavour. Slightly cloying mouthfeel. Halfway down and God, I’m bored.

Usual cider shared with McTapps. Bit of ruits combined with a lot of water, some crispy moments and boring taste. Drinkable, but not really delicious in any way.

Bottle from Scotia Spirit in Cologne. The cider pours out in a clear golden colour with medium body. Aroma of mild apples and leaves. Taste of mild apples, green apples, leaves, caramel. Thin and light watery finish - this cider lacks definitely body and deepness. Average but drinkable.
