COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 500ml bottles and in 5l & 20l boxes.
NOTR: Although named as "Thistly Cross Traditional Cider" on the producer’s website, that word "Traditional" does not appear on the bottles.
Our Satisfying Session Cider has the same smooth flavour as the Original but with a lower ABV. A good full body with a refreshing sparkling mouthfeel. Fruity & aromatic, golden in the glass, with a clean apple finish. A perfect session cider.

Far too sweet and fizzy more of an alcopop than a cider, one half pint may be ok, but any more and it becomes sickly. Poorest cider tasted in a long time and thats since the launch of cidre.

500ml bottle as Virgin Trains Tilting Cider 4.4%. Pours clear gold, overly sweet apple juice aroma, taste is sticky overripe apple juice, pear drops and schloer with a chemical aftertaste. Way too sweet to be enjoyable.

2014-07-03. Crisp pale yellow body, headless. Aroma of musty apples, fruity. Flavour is quite fruity. Light apples notes, sweet overall. Light bodied palate, no carbonation. Very simple but inoffensive. Small sample from a Box cask at Cairngorm Brewing, Aviemore.

Taste just like Apple Juice which at 4.4% could be potentially lethal as a session cider!

330 ml bottle. BB Dec/2014. (Prisma) Helsinki, Finland.
Clear golden colour with no head. Mild sweetness and some chemical notes in the aroma. Quite weak aroma. The flavour is sugary sweetness, wet wool, mild apple (or pear or...) and sweet grapes. Very sweet. No carbonation. Not my favourite cider.

Bottled. Almost clear pale golden. Floral nose. Sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Apples and winegums, sweet and estery. Candyish.
