Bottle. Pours a medium gold with low carbonation and no visible head. Nose is a deep, soft apple with some floral notes. On the tongue, it is a sweet, soft, low acid apple with more floral and honey notes. The finish is long, shifting into berries and cream; very gentle. Wears the ABV well. Decent, if not a bit understated.

Had a pint over at the Desperate Manager Pub .. Pours a deep gold with very low foam .. Quite a sweet cider, way to much for me .. Straight kids sugared filled apple juice.. . Youíre not going to Scotland, channing

Bottle. Crystal clear yellow-gold pour with a very small head. Sweet apple with tart apple skin. Slight alcohol on the nose. Very nice. Ms. BVery says this is a 5.

Clear apple-juice pour.

Modest apple nose, some alcohol. Somewhat sweet, good depth of flavor in the red apple vein. Quite clean, reasonably tasty, but a bit on the sticky-sweet side and not as interestingly complex as the better WA state ciders.

Pours a light golden color with a finger of white fizz. Nice balance of sweet tart apple fruit and dusty dry funk that is subtle but keeps the flavors interesting. Round ripe apple on the front end that gets a bit of earthy skin and tannic structure to keep the sweetness in check.

Pint bottle, served in a pint glass. Aroma is apple, with a mild astringent smell. Appearance is a light amber with a thin, lacy head that quickly dissipates to a light bubbling. Taste is tart apple, with maybe a hint of mild spice? Not sure, canít really tell. Fairly dry, somewhat astringent. It has a medium body with fairly lively carbonation. The finish is short and unmemorable, leaving you wanting more. Overall itís a good cider, sweet enough to drink easily yet not sickeningly sweet. Would recommend.

500ml bottle. Pretty average and boring cidre here, just sweet english apples, some rottenness.

Okay, shifting to a cider tonight. This was poured into my wine glass (as always). The appearance was extremely light and golden clear with a vast array of carbonated bubbles flying skyward towards the top of the glass. Thereís no head and no lacing, but I think Iím starting to understand thatís okay for a cider. The smell had a decent floral but slight honey character going on. The apple is there and has a decent tartness to it. The taste was sweet. On the palate, this was fairly harsh (coming across like wine - uh oh), and it sat fairly light on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Overall, okay cider, honestly, Iím still trying to figure this out since its not a real beer. For this one, I think Iíd have this again.

extremely floral, with notable honey character throughout. Apple is there, and plenty of it, but manages to avoid being reminiscent of raw juice. Hints of age; could some of this honey be oxidation? probably, but the floral is so fresh and very redolent of various apples Iíve been fortunate to try fresh at harvest. Flavor brings even more sweetness, but hints of tartness manage some semblance of balance. Among sweeter ciders, this is a favorite, even if the take on the style is not my favorite. Far from complex, but what it does it does so well. Low tannin, and no bitterness. Alcohol is pretty much absent. Low carb throughout; a bit more spritz would cut through the sweetness nicely.
