Bottle from Capone’s. Pours pale gold with minimal white head. Nose is earthy apple, cinnamon, honey. Tastes pretty sweet at first, with late tartness, a nice apple flavor, and some cinnamon and honey flavors. Good complexity for a cider.

Yellow with a few bubbles. I get a strong apple flavor flavor with a good amount of sugar thrown in. Not bad, but lacking something I can’t quite put my finger on.

Bottle shared at beers of the world II. Aroma is a slight apple cider vinegar and sweet macintosh apple. Pours very light blonde with a nice champagne bubble to it. Taste is very nice and bold with a great apple pulp and peel content. Big fan of this one. Good cider to be sure.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle. Lours a pale yellow with no head. Aroma is straight apple juice. Not much else going on here. Tastes like apple juice and Cheerios. Drying sweet finish. Not bad necessarily, but not really something Id want to drink again.

Pale golen pour small dissipating head. Bland aroma. Tastes like crab apples honey and dirt. Scottish ciders tend to disappoint.

Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear, medium yellow hued body with a medium sized white head that fades. Aromas are of dry apple, honey, mild sulfur, stewed/overripe fruit, champagne, toast. Lightly grassy. Flavors are medium to slightly fuller sweet, a bit flabby, low sulfur, a bit musty. Balance is not quite to my liking: acid is a touch sweet and lacking quite a bit of tannin to balance the acidity. Missing brightness. Nothing off otherwise. Tastes a bit old. Medium body and carbonation. Nothing too special.
