A murky orangish brown color with little head. The aroma is quite nice with a heavy dose of caramel along with some toffee and pine. The flavor is somewhat sweet with caramel standing out. I also taste some toffee and peaches. The finish is slightly bitter with a rather watery palate. Overall this is not bad.

(Draught) Pours a deep amber body with a medium-sized with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel and mild hops. Flavor compliments the aroma.

A light maroon color with a faint malty aroma. Mildly fizzy mouthfeel with a faint maltiness intermixed with an unpleasant twang to it that lingers lingers lingers in the aftertaste. I need to scrub my tongue now.

Pours ruby amber, with an average white head. Malty aroma and taste throughout. No hop taste to speak of. Burnt caramel taste for some reason aswell. Drinkable. Thanks to Springslicker for this one.

somewhat malty aroma. Malt flavor carries throughout, with not as much hop flavor to balance as I would have expected.

Copper pour with a nice sized white bubbly head. Aroma is mostly of malts, and not really much of that. Pretty heavily carbonated. Taste is toasted malt but the finish comes so quick it’s hard to tell. Crisp, somewhat hoppy finish. Average. Not worth the 8 bucks i paid for 6 tho.

Thanks to Suttree for this one. Pours deep copper with big off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, slight hops. Tastes malty, with a slight tart caramel taste, in addition to some nuts. Acquires a green tea overtone as it warms. A solid amber ale.

Bottle from Hop and Leaf Feb 2005. Ruddy, yellowish-orange color, quickly disipating head with some notes of yeast in the aroma. Flavor of light cara pils malt, toasted grains and popcorn. Very light body, astringent with very poor malting. Some light, and I stress light, hops on the finish. Maybe not as offensive as some of their others, but this just could be due to lack of any real flavor. Poured it out. . .
