1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours clear amber with a finger of tan head. Aroma has some faint caramel malt character to it but the rest just seems to be some musty yeastiness. Flavor is not much of an improvement. I try to pick out at least one part of the palate that is enjoyable, but can’t really find any. This is a sub-par amber.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Old rating. Decidedly average and boring amber with all that entails…color, malty body, some sweetness, medium body.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear brown hue with medium frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium aroma of toasted malt. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium flavor of sweet malt with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Smooth drinkable brew.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, purchased on 2/23/15 from Habersham in Savannah. Shared with tmoney99. Bottle is labeled 6.8%. Mostly clear amber-brown color, with some dark particles in the body. Little ring of bubbly off-white head, few bits of lace. Toasty malt, and some caramel. Touch of dark fruit. Mildly spicy and earthy. Moderate bitter, light to moderate sweet. Medium to bigger body. Lighter, slightly rough carbonation. Mild slick finish. Surprisingly, one of the better Thomas Creek beers I picked up (I was beginning to get more and more nervous every time I popped a bottle open). Good bigger bitterness on this, good bigger flavor. A solid, darker, earthier hoppier amber ale.

Tap takeover at Matthews Beer Temple. Very average amber ale. Well balanced but not memorable at all. Pass.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a clear amber with a bit of lacing. Spices, brown sugar on the nose. Roasted malts, molasses, hints of sugar. A really unexceptional amber ale. The worst Thomas Creek beer I’ve tried so far.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle; undated.
Pours a clear deep reddish amber. Has a smallish off-white head that leaves little lacing.
The aroma is rather light, but has a promising mix of toasted malt and spicy hops. As anticipated, the flavor is neither bold nor strong but, like the aroma, is a well balanced mix of hops and malts, with the hops in the background. Sweet up front, then becoming balanced by the finish.
M: medium-light body; adequate, if a bit light, carbonation.
O: an easy drinking beer. Recommended for fans of this style.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours brownish amber with a thin beige head. Medium bodied, a touch sweet, more malt than hops on the finish. Seems to have some funk mixed in there too

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Smells of toasty nut flavors. Appears rich golden amber color. Tastes like a full bodied maltier amber ale with chocolate and some toasted nut tones. Pleasing on the palate, a bit hoppy on the finish which I tend to like. Overall a great amber ale in my opinion.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
A rich dark red. Lightly sweet with a hint of caramel. Malt is not over powering. I’d give it ’Best in Class’ without hesistation.
