Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of thgr81_us. Pours an opaque deep, dark brown with a small off-white head. Sweet roasty nose, and yes - perhaps a whiff of banana. Medium body, subtle roast, salty (?!) with no real bitterness. Enjoyable though. 150313

Pours black with a medium mocha head. Aroma is like a banana pudding pop. Flavor has notable banana...still like a pudding pop...and some nice burnt/roasty notes...touch of caramel and burnt toffee. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy and the finish is roasty/banana.

Bottle shared at RBWG thanks to decaturstevo! Pours an opaque brownish black with thin lacy head that sticks lightly on the way down. Aroma of dark and sweet chocolates with roasted malt; taste follows with a hint of dried bananas on the back end. A little thin on the mouth, but otherwise very enjoyable.

Rbwg thanks for bringing. Black pour with reddish notes and off white head. Arena of chocolate bananas and bread. This really does smell like a banana split. Tastes like one too. A bit sweet but good for a dessert beer.

Bottle at RBwG 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours black with a fine cream head. Creamy chocolate nose with bananas in the background. Big sweet flavor, lovely chocolate notes, some mellow roast. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish but not cloying, chocolate and very mellow banana, low bitterness. Tasty stuff. Good balance.
