A light-bodied and golden European style Pilsner with a very light and clean finish and just enough hops complexity to keep its microbrewed integrity.

Pours a clear luminous straw-yellow with a fading white head. Moderately sweet cereal grain aroma with notes of melon and hay. Light, creamy palate. Softly sweet nutty pilsner malt flavor with underwhelming bitterness in the finish, but does develop some weak finishing hop character after a few sips. More pale lager than crisp pilsner, this would never be mistaken for Prima Pils but definitely tastes like a craft lager as opposed to something mass-produced and laden with adjuncts. Imminently drinkable--I could easily finish one or two or seven on a nice day enjoying the outdoors, preferably paired with a frisbee. Thanks Chris!

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured hazy, golden, some white head and a bit of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grain and malts combined with some hints of hops. Taste is sweet, lots of grain notes, some malts and a slightly bitter finish. Drinkable but not memorable.

Tap takeover at Matthews Beer Temple. This was not very good. Golden with a white head. Malt was bland, hops character was alright but nothing special. Pass.

Pours a clear golden yellow from the bottle with dissipating white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of nice bready pils and biscuit malt with a lager ester behind it. Taste is less intense with a nice clean crispness. Nice for the style, but nothing crazy.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours hazy gold with minimal white head. Nose is hopcitrus, pale malt. Tastes pale malty, with subdued notes of hops, mild breadiness, and some fruitiness in the finish.

@ Greens Discount Liquor / Columbia SC --- Clear light orange amber with a swirly head cover and splotches of lace. Taste is malt with European hops that has some complexity while remaining light and easy to drink. Not a heavyweight at all. Good for food and lazy afternoons.

Traditional pilsner, but no real taste and a lingering less than pleasant aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
