Bottle bought at Champanes, this lager had a clear light red-brown pour and gave a faint off-white one finger head that receded to a thin cover with a few open areas, there was generous carbonation in the glass, and this beer left nice lacing on the sides of the glass, it had aromas of malt and bread, some malt sweetness with faint earth and leaf notes, there were malty flavors that resembled toasted malt with a little bread and malt sweetness, there was a little bitterness after the finish, the mouth feel was light and creamy, there was average to lively carbonation, this was a nice Octoberfest beer drink.

Bottle from Total Wine Boca Raton. Pours brown with a thin white head. not lot on the nose. tastes of copper and funk but not in a good way. If someone said they washed their ball sack in this beer I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s just not a pleasant experience.

Draft. Hazy orange amber color, medium white head. Aroma of caramel biscuit. Taste is similar.

while it hits a little of the medium toastiness and mild caramel and buttery leatherness of a okt, its kinda watery, thin and has a odd bit of bitter bite or snap at the end. leaves a bit of yogurt like twang on the palette. not a fan.

Light copper pour into a SS lager glass.Frothy 1/2 inch head with frothy light lacing. Aroma: Sweet bready doughy pastry cereal grain.Carmel/toffee,almonds,light toast. Some mineral. Some fruit/orange. Better aroma than most octoberfests Ive had. Taste is similar with some mild orange fruit citrus tones, mineral, pretty full bodied and creamy.Strong toffee tones.Good eartthy/pepper bittering balancing the mild carmel sweetness. Good finish kind of citrus/piney type bittering. I like this one a little more than alot of octoberfests and not really big on this style either.

Bottle. A medium copper body with a thin light khaki head. The nose has fall leaves and caramel. There is also some nutty goodness. The taste has some bread crust and pecans. There is also a little bit of leathery goodness in the finish. Tasty.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with very little head. I don’t get a lot from the nose of this. The taste is malty and a little bitter. OK, but a bit harsh for an Oktoberfest.

Orange, clear, big fluffy white head. Lightly fruity, caramelly aroma. Lots of caramel flavor, as well. Just a wee bit fruity in the finish.
