Bottle. Light grass and hop spice, mild lemon citrus, pleasant caramel/bread malt nose, hint of pump at the back. Brilliant light amber-copper body with a frothy off-white head. Crisp malty medium body with light hop prickle and a little veggie, has workable caramel malt and a hint at the darker side of Maillard. Sweet but not too much, with low bitterness, just enough to keep you coming back for more.

chinchill (569) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Undated 12 oz bottle served in Peroni glass. Poured clear copper color with a creamy tan head. Quite lovely but the head is short-lived. There is a lasting ring that leaves decent lacing. Very attractive aroma with a matching flavor. Fine sweet malt flavor with enough hops to balance sweet and bitter. Excellent Marzen!

Aroma is wild and slightly floral. Color is brown and clear with a nice head. Taste is slightly hopped and slightly sour; sort of bready. Interesting interpretation of Oktoberfest. Palate is full and frothy, but not too thick.

Nice orange coloring, low carbonation, decent light flavoring, goes down very smooth and finishes clean. Overall it’s a pretty standard interpretation, would like them to go a little bolder next time, still good though.
