Jan 27, 2008 Cask at Atlanta Cask Ale Festival. Oak aging here is subtle. Aroma is more roasted coffee and malt. The hops here are a little more in balance with the overall beer. Bitter grapefruit and citrus hop flavors.

On cask at Atlanta Cask Ale. Great color and light smooth drinkability. I got aromas of coffee and tastes of bittersweet chocolate with a little sugary residue as it finished.

Jan 27, 2008 Cask ale tasting at Sweetwater. Poured a dark brown. Aroma of heavy malts and some hop. Taste is very nice, with a good amount of sweet malt and a hoppy bitter finish. Very easy drinking. Palate is very nice for this porter.
