Our flagship beer, this is a medium-bodied, extremely smooth Irish style red ale with an evenly roasted malt character throughout.

Single bottle, Total Wine. Pour a deep amber with a thin, foamy, quickly-gone head. A little clumpy lacing. Not much in the way of aroma - a little malt, lemongrass, and something acidic. Flavor is roasted malts, caramel, and fig. Very light hops. Fairly thick body with low carbonation. Not a bad red.

Malty, but a bit light and bland. Watery finish, light hints of nut and toffee. Not a standout.

Bottle at Dala Indiskt kök, Borlänge. Amber with a white head leaving lacing. Aroma is metallic and quite weak, but not exactly bad. Taste: candy, caramel, light licorice, fruity. Medium-bodied. Not sure if it is supposed to be hoppier, I suspect this bottle could be a bit old.

Pours an amber color with a fairly thick head. Great malts in the nose, almost toasty. They’re overpowering in the taste, though, and makes it slightly harsh.

Poured from bottle into pint glass. Nice color, fairly sweet body with Carmel hints and a nice hop balance. Not a bad beer at all... One to drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank from a 12 oz bottle. A very rich deep red ale color and a nice foamy velvety head.

APPEARANCE: Pours a clear amber color with a rapidly disappearing ivory head and minimal lacing. AROMA: The nose is mostly malts and biscuity. TASTE: To me, the taste was very biscuity along with some toasted malt and an hint of sweetness. MOUTHFEEL: Medium and smooth - no hop bitterness. OVERALL: I enjoyed this beer but I'm not sure it's the best example of a red ale. Would drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Appalachian vintner. Pours light brown with a thin khaki head that leaves no lacing. Kind of a earthy, alcohol vibe on the nose. A bit of Peet on the tongue. Finishes clean. Solid for style.

Bottle. Glowing, well carbonated amber with a thick and steady small bubbled off-white head. The head kinda looks like a nitro beer and lends the aroma to suckiness. Very crystal maltish, thankfully not too sweet. A little creamy, light bitterness. Kinda drinks more like an Irish red than an American one and maybe that is what it is meant to be. Unlike the ipa which is pretty much undrinkable, this is a very solid beer that I could see drinking again. The aroma opens up as it warms and breathes revealing light british hops, bready malts. Impressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Loved this beer. Nice flavor, like the subtle hops with the perfectly roasted malt taste. Nice amber color. Balanced aroma. Good beer.
