2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz Bottle. My first South Carolina tick, finally! Aroma bubbles up with a good bit of vanilla and then some DMS. On the palate this tastes like liquid corn flakes and other sugary processed corn-based breakfast cereals laden with vanilla. The breadth of this beer ends about there. The vanilla quality is okay and is not overbearing, it’s just that the emergent quality of cereal is not entirely enjoyable for me.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from a bottle. Clear yellowish gold, minimal head, some splotchy lacing. Very little aroma - and definitely no vanilla. A little like dishwater. Taste is a bit soapy, yeasty, and not much vanilla to speak of. Mouthfeel is light. Overall, this wasn’t what I was expecting - not really creamy or vanilla - actually more like a lager.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle. Smells like lager hops and rye. Has color of lite beer but head persists. Interesting flavor of vanilla, rye, hay with sweet vanilla aftertaste. Grass notes as well. Dry and crisp. A hint of pepper. Maybe I’m missing something, but I like this stuff. Good summer choice.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle poured clear light golden with what looks like a high amount of carbonation. Large, sudsy white head is durable. Ho-hum aroma and flavor is too much like a macro lager...but with vanilla. High but seemingly appropriate carbonation; light body.
O: refreshing but timid.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draft... Jupiter Craft Brewer’s Festival 2013... Clear, straw-colored pour with a small, creamy, white head that sticks around for a good while. I’m getting no aroma from this brew at all – none – zero – zip – zilch. At least it’s inoffensive. Light-bodied and watery with moderate carbonation. Tastes like seltzer water with a gentle splash of vanilla and the faintest sweetness. Short, crisp, mildly sweet finish.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a thin bodied, light colored ale. Mouth feel is slightly creamy. Overall a yeasty, balanced ale.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A bright medium gold colored brew with a thin off white head. Sugar cookies! This is mostly what I smell. There is also some hay. This tastes a lot more dry than I expected. There is also lots of wood and some hints of the sugar cookie character, but it is very light and in the finish. A little bit herbal, this one is decent. The vanilla is barely detected. Not one of Thomas Creek’s best efforts.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle
As far as cream ales go this one was not too bad. That said it was hardly remarkable. For a simple session beer it gets the job done. Maybe I would pick up another if they were on sale but there are a number of more local options instead.
Aroma / Appearance - The body looks like carbonated vanilla cream soda with a pillowy soft head. Vanilla extract, cream filling from a custard donut, and other sweet aspects smell more like a fountain drink than a beer.
Flavor / Palate - Vanilla and sugar blend into a saccharine combination that refreshed the palate. As delicate as it is the taste ranges from inoffensive to just enough flavor to avoid being dull. This is a fine cream ale for the most part.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours with a very thick head. Hints of vanilla to the those are inviting, but the taste ends up being a relatively low quality cream ale with some slight sweetness.
