1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2010 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber. Very slight fruity aroma. Taste is sour and frankly rather stale with a not very pleasant painty bitterness overlying the whole. The rather temporary looking pumpclip claimed this to be ’brewed under licence’. Oh dear. 24.12.10 Same location. Much better! Dusty cobweba and cellar aroma. Bland taste, smooth a fruity like syrup in a can of peaches. Slight bitterness. Rating:6,4,6,4,12:3.2

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On cask at The Vine, Wednesfield. Pours golden with white head. It gives the impression it’s going to be a good Black Country style bitter, with a sweet start but the finish just falls down, watery and uninteresting. A shame as it had potential.
