Cask at GBBF 2005. Amber brown colour. Fairly typical US IPA with goodish hops that were slightly more floral than most. Some malt, not bad but needs more depth. Amazing hop finish (according to my notes)

dark amber, whispy beige head, sweet hoppy aroma with a hint of citrus, good carmel malt flavor, well balanced with some hop bitterness that leads to a long bitter finish, nice but lacking distinctive character

12oz bottle acquired in trade with SpringsLicker (thanks!). Poured a deeper and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Lots of small floaters. Aromas of citrus, caramel and flowers. Tastes of toasted malts, a little bready, and citrus. Thinner body.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (7363) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 10, 2003
(Cask)Orange-amber, clear; no head. Citrussy hops, peppery, nutmeg aromas. Very hoppy taste, USA hops, sharpish at the end. Impression of gingerbread flavour. Light bodied. Long hard bitter aftertaste. Not bad, but a tad too harsh, not clean-tasting enough.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2004
A fairly reasonable APA, but, with an odd rubbery edge to the aroma and a shortage of hoppy bite. This came over to me as pleasant enough, but a bit nondescript. Why are so many US breweries coy about alcohol content? Cask, GBBF 2004.
