Tap at the brewpub. Some bready malt, yeast, nuts and lemony hops in the rather faint aroma. The taste is watery and rather flavourless, and overcarbonated on top of that. There is a redeeming factor - the outspoken, pleasant bitterness, but that is not enough to convince me.

On tap at brewpub on Xmas night. Lovely golden colour, fluffy head, unfiltered. Great big german hop nose inviting you in. Brilliant hop flavour and smooth lager character. Very fresh and well crafted brew. Grossly under rated on here, unless its changed.

Beer No. 18 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy yellow coloured, small white head, grassy nose. Moderate malty, grassy and light fruity with mild bitter finish. Very refreshing but in general pretty ordinary beer.

Test vom 8.10.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 6,12,12,14,-,13 - 12,10

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy to hayish. Mild citrusy hoppy flavoured, slight grassy too. Bubblegum from the yeast. Bitter and slight citrusy into the finish.

(6/21/08) Draught at the brewpub in Leipzig. Cloudy yellow-golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with some grass and light graininess. Flavor starts a bit sweetish with faint sugar hints and a bit of light bread and finishes with pleasant hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. A nice Pils.

On tap at the brewery. Looks really good in the glass. Not too fruity or spicy, modest dry. Very drinkable. Dries out the mouth - not so good. Nevertheless a very fine beer.
