Mild hefiger Antrunk, etwas lasch wirkend.

Buona

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2010 Medium white head. Hazy opaque greenish deep yellow body. Yoghurty wheaty metallic aroma with hoppy pea notes. Dry-sweet, and faintly acidic, yoghurty mealy wheaty taste with grassy hoppy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry mealy papery strawy aftertaste with hoppy notes. Nice, and highly drinkable. Even has some character. (0.5l draft at brewpub. Also rated in 2008, when it was lightly infected.)

Usual Hefe presentation, and this one paints by the numbers. It has a hint of spice and some banana, ultimately can drink a few pints.

(6/21/08) Draught at the brewpub in Leipzig. Very pale yellow color (almost like a Belgian Wit or a Berliner Weisse) with a white head. Aroma is wheaty and fruity with some spices (clove is present). Sweetish flavor with some banana, light wheaty tartness and some light spiciness. Light to medium-bodied. A decent Weizen.

On tap at the brewery. Looks very good in the glass. Flavor very fruity but not too sweet. In the end also a little bit dry. Not an average but a very good hefeweizen.
