Aroma: Smelling of bread, dates, coffee and some smoke.
Appearance: A dark brown colored beer. A tan head with good lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting bread, figs, dark roasted coffee and grape-fruit peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a coarse texture. A medium body with a very dry finish.
Overall: Very coarse and bitter dark.

Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Black with fluffy beige head. Strong coffey and cocoa aroma, some other vague rosted notes. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with firm bitterness.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Completely black, rich firm beige head. Distinct coffee aroma. Dryish with medium body and firm, well rounded mouthfeel. Tobacco, cocoa and coffee. Mid bitter finish. A tasty, balanced porter.

Rostad, platt doft. Rostad. Beska. Bra porter. Hoffback och Kjellander tror att det är chili i. Jag är tveksam.. Men det är en bra porter. Riktigt bra

Svart öl med mörk brunt-begie skum. Doft: Kaffe, barr, kakao, mango. Smak: Kaffe, rökt korv, barr, romerska bågar, mineraler, humle.

Bottle. Glossy mahogany with a huge moussey tan foam freckling the glass. Aroma filter coffee dregs, rotting leaf matter, molten black chocolate swirled in an ashtray. Flavour coal, burnt berries, high cocoa chocolate, deep persuasive smokiness lingering like a cigar. Black cherry, chipotle and malt loaf finish. Smoked, earthy and rich. Really good.

(Draught at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm) Black colour with frothy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of freshly ground coffee, espresso, cacao, black rye bread and a touch of ashes. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, cacao, black rye bread and a generous roasty bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Very nice porter with a generous coffee character.

500ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Coffee, cocoa, plain chocolate and roasted malt in the aroma. Coffee, roasted malt, dried fruit, cocoa and vanilla all feature in the smooth taste. Really easy to drink.
