500ml bottle (Black Door, Helsinki)
Looks great - dark, dark tight head. Lovely rich roasty aroma, touch of coffee. Woh, this is wonderful in the mouth, lovely coffee. Massive drinkability, just what a porter should be. Love the roast. If there is coffee in this, I will revisit this and dock it points, but if this is brewed just with malts this is a materpiece.

Chilled bottle, BB Nov 2013. Pours black, decent sized head. Smell - smoke, ashy, yeasty. Taste - a bit sharp initially, yeasty, sweet and sour sauce, roasty, ashy. Not getting a lot of mocha. I’ll admit that I haven’t stored this beer well over the last couple of months, and it certainly tastes as though it may be past its best. Still a drinkable and interesting beer though.
