Linköping Beer Expo 2013. Black beer with a nice brownish head. Roasted chocolate aroma, cocoa powder, vanilla and manure notes, licorice, soot, leather notes. Roasted dark chocolate flavor, cocoa, prunes, almost smoked, floral, hay, bitter hops, some caramel. Nice chocolate finish.

50 cl bottle @ Oluthuone Pekko, Tampere.
Pours dark red color with a small steady head. Aroma of coffee, cocoa, dark roasted malts. Flavour of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and some caramel. Reminds me of Nørrebro La Granja Espresso Stout.

On tap at Crowbar, january 26th 2012. Full black body, small tanned head. Aroma of sweet chocolate and coffee, lightly hopped. Roasty and sweet taste,, espresso, milk chocolate, grain. Thin body, aftertaste of espresso and hops.

It looked nice, but the taste was kind of boring. I have drank porters with much more full-bodied taste. However, the taste of coffee beans was there.
Not my cup of tea.

Bottle at Deanso’s crappy music tasting. Poured a dark mahogany with a broken tan head. The is rich a peaty. The flavour is bitter liqourice peaty with lots of spice. A truly awesome beer.

Black with a thick lasting, clingy lacy, beige frothy head. Smells of roasted malt, molasses, wood, coffee and some cherries. Medium oily body. Tastes of roasted and dark malt with molasses, coffee, liquorish with a lasting bitterness. Full malty flavour. Smells nicer than the taste. It falls a bit short.

Sampled from bottle @ Dean plays crappy music tasting. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized light brown head. Smell malts, roasted malts, coffee, molasses. Taste malts, roasted malts, coffee, bitterness. Really nice, but just a little bit thin texture-wise. Only 6% ABV though, full flavor, long lingering malty bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice.

Bottle shared at Deanso’s painfully awful music tasting. Pouts dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, wood, some lactose, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
