Appearance: Black color with a finger thick tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Mocha, chocolate and coffee.
Palate: Full body. Tad sweet, and an ok bitterness. Soft to average carbonation.
Taste: Lots of mocha. Chocolate, mild fruity, coffee and some roasted malt.
Overall impression: Powerful lovely evening sipper. Even Gry who claims she do not like beer, admit that this one was lovely! Highly recommendable.
Personal stats: Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo, Norway.

Dark opaque black color, tiny beige head. Toasted, coffeish, ashy aroma. Medium-bodied. Sticky palate. Flavor has tobacco ash, cold coffee and roasted malts. Some hops in the finish. Nice but perhaps a bit too ashy for my liking.

500 ml bottle @ Malja, Kuopio. Pours a pitch black colour with a beige thick head. Aroma of roasted malts, biscuit and chocolate. Rich flavour of roasted malts, licorice, cocoa, biscuit and mellow sweetness. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a roasty malty finish. Delicious.
