Pours pitch black with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of roasty malts, hints of coffee beans and dark chocolate. Taste is heavy and roasty with notes of ash, coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa. Finish is smooth and heavy with notes of roasty coffee and dark chocolate. Nice, quite complex and tasty porter. Feels a lot heavier than 6%.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty coffee and chocolate aroma. Roasted malty coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty coffee and chocolate finish.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. ABV 6%. Pours almost opaque black with a huge tanned head. Aroma of chocolate and fresh roasted coffee and malts. Smooth palate. Taste is light sweet coffee and dark chocolate. Ends dry with a nice bitter chocolate at the end, nice mocha this one.

Bottle. Lovely aroma, full of freshly ground coffee, cocoa beans, notes of roasted grain and subtle hints of vanilla. Quite full body though the taste is dry, tart from the coffee and roast most presumably. Mocca flavour, simply put. Very nice one!

Pitch black with a nice thick brown head. Lots of coffee and chocolate on the nose. The coffee finds the way into the flavors as well, with toffee and floral notes. And don’t forget the dry finish.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Inky black with a creamy tan head. There are roasted coffee flavours, floral fruity coffee notes, dark chocolate, vanilla and more coffee on the finish.

Sweetish aroma with coffee-beans and chocolate.
Coffee and chocolate inte th flavor aswell. Well-balanced body with a light bitterness and sourish notes.

Bottled (I think...)@HBF2013 (Thanks to Sir Kumpulainen the brave). More or less deep brownish black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, ashes, some coffee and actually nicely floral and fruity as well as some mild toffee. Flavour is roasted malts, ashes, coffee, mild fruits, toffee and some slight foral notes in the finish. Very bodied and nice porter!

Ölen ser onekligen väldigt inbjudande ut, alldeles kolsvart. Aromen är inbjudandeed mkt rostade toner. Smaken däremot var en besvikelse, ölen var alldeles för sträv och obalanserad för att falla mig i smaken.

Bottle. Almost black colour with a beige head. Roasted, rather strong coffee notes (which I like), chocolate, faint smoke, lightly fruity. Dry finish. Rather light body.

Bottle from Tomlinson’s. It pours near black with a thick beige head. The nose is roasted malt, earth, coffee grinds, caramel and cocoa. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, earth, chocolate, ash and decent bitterness with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth and pretty drinkable.
