2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I was very excited to get my hands on this. However, my excitement was soon scuppered. Very average and not at all exciting. Didn’t bother with another pint, and probably wouldn’t again.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On keg at Coach and Horses - fine clear yellow body, robust white head. Sharp notes of citrus and hoppy tartness in the nose, something similar in the taste, with a sweetness on the way out. Class act. Nice one.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg at Euston Tap, 13th March 2013. Had this after a Stone Ruination, so perhaps Stone had runied my palate, however this felt pretty average as an APA

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
[keg at Craft N1] Brilliantly clear yellow pour, with an inviting white head. Aroma is lemon, lime, pine air freshener. Very lemon zesty on the flavour, leading to a long, dry, grassy finish. Tastes something like a lemoned-up version of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (which I mean in a good way). Hugely refreshing, all round. A real belter

Craft Islington. Keg. Clear and bright paleish gold beer. Little white head. Palate is airy, softish and semi dry. Fresh skunky hops and what tastes like lager malt. A sprinkle of nuts. Mild minerals. Finishes dry. Interesting!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg @ CBC Islington. The pour’s a light gold color with a medium eggshell white head. The aroma’s a bit faint. Notes of soft summery fruits, apricot. A bit of tropical pineapple and pine cone. A bit of acerbic salt grass and piss. The taste is chalky lemon cake, a bit of grass. Nice, crisp bitterness on the finish. Light body, pretty fizzy. Overall, a enjoyable warm weather beer. Understated tastiness.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2013 Keg at CBC, Islington. It pours a clear yellow/ golden colour with a large white head. Foam dissipates quickly. Aroma is hopped and spicy. In a strange and not necessairily pleasant way. Some friuotiness. Taste is gently bitter with grassy hops. Light in body with high carbonation. Not impressive and kinda strange.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Keg at CBC Islington, London. Pours clear yellow, effervescent, with a tight, white cream head. Bright lemon, straw and pee in the nose. Light, almost medium sweet flavor with brisk, bright lemon, some dry grass, lime, pine needles. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Super fresh, clean finish, lots of understated citrus fruits, light bitterness, a bit of pee, lime, lemon. No, it isn’t heavy-handed, but it’s the most drinkable and fresh beer of the night.
