Transatlantic collaboration between two of the a the world’s best brewers, a fruity pale ale brewed using Sierra Nevada’s hops, malts from the UK and something called a ‘hop torpedo’ which intensifies the hop aromatics.

Draught, albeit a long time ago. Citrus, mandarin lime, grassy-herbal notes, kiwi. All spoiled by sulphury notes reeking of toilet. Otherwise more than decent - light and crisp, not too bitter, very well balanced. But the sulphur spoiled the fun.

Pours clear with a thin frothy white head. Aroma is a bit of a let down, some citrus but a bit of a lager smell. Very smooth palate. Not a great beer from 2 great breweries, a bit more like a German lager than an APA.

Clear yellow with white head. Crisp, dry, fruity, refreshing, moderate bitter... bit thin... decent APA, if not a bit uninspiring.

Bottle @home tasting General Election 2015 (rating backlog) Pours gold with a small white head. Nose is malty, tropical fruits, orange and general citrus. Taste is citrus, bitter lime tartness, quite a mineral after taste like you would get from the terroir from a wine, nice.

Bottle. Very pale gold with a white head. Gentle but pleasant aroma of mandarins, lemon, grapefruit, the meadow, sherbet. Light body, moderate carbonation. Very soft feel to it. Some sweet clean hayish malt then citrus and some tropical fruit. Dry and moderately bitter at the end. Classy but maybe a bit too understated.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2015 Bottle from The Bottle Lab, Leek. Pours a clear straw colour with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon, lime, mango, some pineapple, subtle straw and grassy, floral hops. Taste of lemon, lime, mango, some pineapple, a little melon, slight grapefruit, subtle biscuit and grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet, citrusy, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Thornbridge fail to disappoint, definitely with Sierra Nevada. Fresh, citrusy with a light bitterness. Highly drinkable and full flavoured. Lovely.

Bottled 500ml. -from Pivoljub Ljubljana. Pale yellow coloured, small to medium sized white head that went away fast, weak lemony nose. Just few bubbles of carbonation. Tastes like mineral water with citrusy and floral hoppy notes and weak bitterness. Short bitterish finish. Not good.
