One of the most underrated beer I’ve had (83 while this stupid Duvel is rated 99..). I recognize that the aroma is subtle and might be too light for some. However, I think that it’s what Thornbridge often aims at, subtle beers that are extremely rich if you pay attention. The appearance is amazing, crystal clear pale blond beer and foam retention is decent. The taste is outstanding, citrusy on the front with a slight white berries touch and a slight sweetness. It creates a very homogenous and consistent ensemble that works just great. I highly recommend it to people looking for a rich but subtle beer.

500 ml. bottle sampled @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Lighter citrus, little white head. Nose is very interesting faintly herbal, fruity lemon drop hops, lightly fizzy, tad yeast,… Taste if fruity lemon drops hops, faint sugar, eucalyptus, citrus, light herbs,… Very light,… Very much a very light & flavorful Thornbridge pale ale, very lovely beer.

Bottle into glass, bought @ Centrala Piwna, Poznań. Fruity aroma, mango, pineapple, a bit of citrus and floral notes. Smells great, but could have been more intense. Superb appearance. Rich, white head, nice lacing. clear, yellow liquid. Taste is very refreshing, medium bitterness, definitely not a sweet beer. Medium carbonation. Great APA overall, as it should be.

Bottle. Golden and clear with a fruity aroma.Lovely inspiring fruit flavour which is complex but at the same time quite straightforward. As good as you would expect from 2 excellent breweries working together.

Pours a pale yellow color, topped with a decent white frothy head. Pleasant fruity and pine aroma. Taste starts with nice gentle fruity sweetness (exotic fruits) followed by a very moderate hoppy bitterness, lasting in the aftertaste. Very drinkable. Gentle and delicious.

Keg at CBC Islington, London. Pours clear yellow, effervescent, with a tight, white cream head. Bright lemon, straw and pee in the nose. Light, almost medium sweet flavor with brisk, bright lemon, some dry grass, lime, pine needles. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Super fresh, clean finish, lots of understated citrus fruits, light bitterness, a bit of pee, lime, lemon. No, it isn’t heavy-handed, but it’s the most drinkable and fresh beer of the night.
