4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
(bottle, vintage 2013) Dark brown, almost black coloured hue with a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Elegant raspberry-fruity aroma with mildly dark and roasty malty notes, balanced by a whiff of liquorice and chocolate. Mildly sour-fruity and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth and well-carbonated mouthfeel. Raspberry-laden fruit character with rounded Stout flavours like dark chocolate, liquorice and faint traces of vanilla; long lasting fruity and balanced malty finish with sour and moderately roasty bitter accents, the alcohol is barely detectable. Superb. 19.VIII.15

Big raspberry nose with a full on raspberry mouthfeel with a roasty bitter finish. One for those who like fruity bitter beers.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A perfectly pitch black body with a minimal brown head. The nose has an extremely pronounced and alnost pungent aroma of raspberries that covers everything else. The taste has a rush of raspberry sourness that quickly gives way to a deep, rich and lingering liquorice aftertaste. This is extremely intense with the raspberry and liquorice fighting against each other in perfect balance, exciting!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2015 Opaque dark colour with almost no head. Visually low carbonation with slow up rising bubbles. Aroma: Prevails aroma of raspberry. Malty backbone with dark chocolate, cocoa like character, is in second plan. Flavor: hop bitterness is high, also fruity esters and they are well balanced with malts. We can detect notes of cocoa, coffee, etc. But malty backbone is too weak, or better to say is in second plan, namely taste of raspberry is too dominant and too exaggerated.
Body is medium, texture is smooth, carbonation is medium.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Intense aroma of raspberries, there’s not much more, some roasted flavours as well. Dry and tart, slightly bitter. Thin mouthfeel. Interesting beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, bb 31.01.16. Pours almost black, with beige head and nice lacing. Aroma is dominated by raspberry, notes of roasted malts and hints of sweetness. Something like dark chocolate pralines with raspberries. Taste is again full of berries, with nice roasted, medium bitter background. Raspberries added some sourness to the beer what made it relatively drinkable. Seems to be medium bodied. Worth trying.
