Hippoman (127) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2015
Cask at The Old Hall Inn, Whitehough, Derbyshire, £2.95/pint. Pours dark amber/ruby with a creamy, off-white head. Took a while to settle but a good looking beer in the end. Aroma quite weak with some light cereal and earthiness. Nutty bitterness to flavour well balanced with grass and malty caramel sweetness. Short, malty finish, refreshingly smooth on palate.
