On tap at Sheffield Tap, pours dark reddish brown. Aroma of caramel and nuts, with some dry fruits prevalent subtly. Flavour of rich nuts, caramel and dark dry fruits. Quite rich (especially for the low ABV) and full-bodied. Really nice.

Leighton (14430) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2011
Cask at the White Hart, Nicholsons. Clearish ruby pour with a medium, off-white head. Toasty malts on the nose, some hints of citrus hops. Very balanced, drinkable flavor. Lightly sweet, with a bit of bready malts, earthy and citrusy bitterness, just faint roast. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. The roast is mild in the finish but it lingers. There’s a bit more grassy, rindy hops. Very solid.

Hand pulled cask at the C&K, Pimlico. Russet brown with a healthy beige head. Easy drinking, mildly hopped brown ale. Not challenging by any stretch of the imagination but so competently brewed.

Cask. RBESG Rome 2010. Opaque orangey brown with a rough off-white head. The aroma has a little nuts and vanilla. Light - almost thin - body, nutty accents, a little caramel and nothing much more. Very discreet bitterness. 060610
