500ml bottle, sourced from Utobeer, London Bridge. Pours a nearly black with medium almond coloured head that lasts, leaving lots of lacing. Aroma is peaty, smoky, chocolate and espresso. Taste is cocoa, coffee, caramel and a lingering smokiness. Palate is perhaps a little bit thin for a porter of this style but overall this is a very good, enjoyable beer.

Flaska (Thornbridge Smoked Winter Porter). Väldigt mörkt brun öl med fint gräddigt skum. Dofter av kakao, kaffe, charkuterier och aska. Smakinslag av kaffe, vanilj, rostad malt. Rökig avslutning. Lite för mycket kolsyra för min smak. Medel mot liten kropp.

Named as smoked winter porter winter season 2014 in Sweden. A black liquid with a tan head. Slight roasted notes with dark chocolat and a hint of coffe. Highly bitter in taste with a roasted barley. Hints of chocolate and coffe. A long lasting aftertaste with slowly dimishing bitterness. Yes, nice, subtle enough smokiness to be appreciated. Lots of "dark" taste and still a high bitterness.
