Bottled; Bear State; thanks to Alex at Ale House. Nice white lacing. Golden. Nice Green Flash elements going on here. Some great pilsner malt. Absurdly clean. Good bitterness. Nice mangos and grapefruit. Nice work. Love this.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear golden body a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of pine needles, orange and peach. Flavour of grass, sawdust, orange and apricot. Spicy hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Not as punchy as I expected but it’s very drinkable and well balanced.

Bottle as Bear State West Cost IPA, from Beermoth, Northern Quarter, Manchester, purchased and consumed later at Holiday Inn Express, Oxford Road, after Godspeed You! Black Emperor gig on Friday 17th April 2015 I have poured this into a green glass so determining the colour is a tad awkward but I am guessing golden with a white head. a touch of pine on the aroma with some late citrus (grapefruit) coming through. Sweet and malty but not too malty and a bit dry. A dab of tropicana about this as well. Like it. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Draught. Golden in color, thick whitish head. Citrus fruityness and piney forresty notes in aroma, they’re not that intensive though and sadly even some off-notes appears later on. Fruity lemon, some summer meadowy notes and grapefruity bitterness in taste. Bit of malts on the side. Bitter and somewhat fruity finish.
