Draft @ Borefts. Aroma is zesty lemon, typical lactic notes, spices. Flavour is tangy milky lemon zest with spices. Not my thing.

At Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Weak bready and grainy aroma with fruity notes. Dry and tart, malty and slightly yeasty flavour. Cleaner and tastier than anything from Berlin.

On tap at Craft Clapham, Dec 2013. Hazy yellow. Clitrus, thin body, crisp and clean. Very true to type, elegant. Rhubarb, lemonade.

On tap @ Borefts 2013. Really pale and dishwasher water colored, kinda yellow straw looking and it has only a little film on top of it. The nose is light farty with lots of farm and grains. A soft lemon acidity all the way in the back perhaps. That light sourness goes again in the taste, but this time more limeish. It’s not surprisingly kinda light on the mouthfeel this and the carbonation is below average and small bubbled. Citrus, hay, grains and a mild soft fruitiness that shines through until the grainy finish kicks in. A bit disappointed to be honest. 27.09.2013

Gedronken @borefts’13. Gele kleur met een witte schuimkraag. Ruikt naar nat gras, mout. Smaakt naar nat gras, bitter, kuilvoer, bittertje, citroen of limoen.

Keg at CBC Brixton. It pours a hazy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is lIght sourness, citrus peel and grape must. Taste is fruity and acidic with a touch of peachy sweetness. Light bodied with good carbonation. A bit simplistic but refreshing

Keg @ Euston Tap. Lightly hazy gold with a tiny eggshell white head. Nose is faintly bilious. Lemonade, refined sugar. Soft wheat. The taste is sort of underwhelming. Watery, lacking that clean lactic bite I’d expect from the style. Moderately sugary. Light body, dull on the palate. Overall, not the best effort from Thornbridge.

Tap at CBC Clerkenwell. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head which quickly disappears. Nose is quite sweet and sugar forward - not overly sour. Some vinegar and lemon zest with white pepper and an odd saltiness. Taste is peppery with underlying acidic notes followed by citric lemon and something very weird - reminds me of throwing up. Sounds pretty awful, probably not that bad, but not very good
