COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Occasional.
Thornbridge Brother Rabbit (4%) - an early spring ale. Hopped with three classic American hops: Cascade, Chinook and Centennial (N.B. J D Wetherspoons festival programme October 2011 states hops are Amarillo and Cascade). Gold in colour with tropical fruits and orange sherbet dominating the aroma. Medium body with a clean firm bitterness to balance – a great thirst quenching beer.

On cask @ Coach and Horses - A light golden coloured beer, white head, with a sharp lemony bitterness throughout. Bold citrus flavours throughout. Quite thin palate, but sets itself up as a session ale. Not much to write home about, but pleasant enough.

Cask handpull, the Mercure Hotel, Sheffield, 31/12/12. Hats off to them for putting a local(ish) beer on handpull and offering a cheeky little selection of ’boutique’ bottled beers, overpriced as they were. Dusted straw with a flat lacing top. Gentle cheese, tropical, grassy aroma. Watery grass and lemon on biscuit notes; salty dabs. Still condition. Acceptable pre-crawl refreshment.

Cask conditioned at The Victoria, Birmingham. Straw with white head. Nice lemony fruity freshness with a touch of sherbet about it. Lasting with a tropical fruit note on the palate and good depth for a light beer. Very nice.

Half-pint, cask at The Rake, shared with Finn. Almost clear, pale golden body. Shiny surface, poor lacing. Floral hoppy nose. Caramel malts in flavour offset by grassy hops. Rounded dry bitter ending. Easy to drink. Does carry some interests (London, 04.11.2012).

On tap at Craft Beer Co. One of the lesser Thornbridge brews I sampled but still pretty yummy. Bright, glowing golden-orange pour with a crisp, firm carbonation. Soft grassy notes along with expected floral and citric aromas. Inviting and springlike in late summer. Bright, lively mouthfeel enhances this effect to some degree and the hop profile was bright, bitter, and refreshing.

Dull malty aroma. Very pale. Dishwatery. Pale grains in the taste. Some dry bitter finish. Bull and watery. Incipid. A waste of water. What have you done with the real Thornbridge? Please bring it back!

This check in been a long time coming. When I've seen it I've been off my beer so never had it. Glad I have now. Like a session version of Chiron, but much better than Wild Swan. Another Thornbridge classic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
