COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Occasional.
Thornbridge Brother Rabbit (4%) - an early spring ale. Hopped with three classic American hops: Cascade, Chinook and Centennial (N.B. J D Wetherspoons festival programme October 2011 states hops are Amarillo and Cascade). Gold in colour with tropical fruits and orange sherbet dominating the aroma. Medium body with a clean firm bitterness to balance – a great thirst quenching beer.

A very smooth beer. Aroma and appearance and all that much but the flavour offers a tasty tartness with a clean and bitter finish. A nice beer to begin, but certainly not end, a night with.

Pale golden, slightly hazy, thin head is creamy white and long, lots of sticky lacing. Tropical fruits and citrus, caramel malt covered mostly. Semisweet and soft, round, light to medium body, bitter finish dries and had bit pine. Tasty one.

Cask from the stags head, Sheffield. Golden ale with not much head. Aroma is grassy and grainy, slight off smell on this, maybe the drains. Taste is much better, light and refreshing nice dry finish. Palate is lovely, the tingly carbonation I like with a medium - thick body. Decent.

BlackHaddock (3635) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2014
My third and final beer at the Pheasant, Wellington, Shropshire on 14th June 2014: cask half-pint. Slight haze to the dull golden body, a white head. I thought this a little bland, a mild hop citrus note here and there with a light maltiness in places. I can’t get as excited as some do with Thornbridge, beers like this are the reason.

Cask. Slightly cloudy, pale golden beer. Soapy, weak head. Fresh, citrusy hoppy nose:grapefruit, tangerine, sweeter nectars, green grapes. A touch of yeast abs a hint of biscuits from pale malts. Some sweetness at first but finishes dry with crisp bitterness. Well balanced. Tasty session ale.

Cask at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Norra Vallgatan
Hazy blond color with a thin persistent head. Light aroma of malt and rubber. Soft mouthfeel, rather weak and dry; simple malt flavor, with a papery impression, low bitterness, not much hop quality.
Not as crispy as promised by the badge, with not much interest; what is the target?

Cask, handpump at The Sportsman, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, Friday 14th February 2014 Pours gold slim white head, superb looker. Little washing up liquid, some soft sweet lemon, perhaps a tiny bit thin but good lasting bitterness and damn a tasty beer. Amazed I’d never had this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.7
