American Pale Ale
Golden in colour Chiron offers a superb balance of tart hops, juicy malt and tangy fruit while the lingering finish offers a hint of apricots and tangerines before a biscuity malt and hoppy finish.

Very interesting combination, pineapple yoghurt nose together with tea-like bitter taste: ceylon, mate, lime blossom, even a bit of lapsang souchong smokiness. Not my favorite of this nice brewery though.

5%ABV. Pale Ale. Tapped out a slightly cloudy golden amber, 6ºSRM. Nose has some nice pine and citrusy aromas. There is a pleasant non-too-assertive aroma of sweet malt. Overall, quite inviting with a neat beery sniff. Soapy mouthfeel, with carbonation just a tad under, not quite elevating the thick malty palate all the way out of "heavy". The palate is pleasantly interesting with with nice biscuit, light toast, and fresh very lightly starchy flavor like fresh breadfruit, which is both starchy and fruity. Enough of a nice hoppy slide to the end. Not quite lingering enough to be an IPA, but nice enough to be given the label of a well-balanced ale. Not much hop character in the finish, no lingering herb-like or hyssop flavors. There is no citrus freshness. Good enough overall to be very pleasant, but not enough character to go on the list of all time greats. I would recommend this, but if you had to watch you calories, then probably not.

Sampled from a bottle from Waitrose. Pours a clear golden colour with a white head that is not long lasting. Aromas of mango, mandarin, pineapple and passion fruit. Really exotic smell. The taste also has lots of tropical fruit balanced by biscuity malts. The hop taste is fruity, and the whole beer is very well-balanced and fresh with a good feel in the mouth and long, dry, fruity finish. Very, very tasty. An excellent, refreshing brew.

At Craft Clerkenwell, London. Clear golden beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, grassy, hay, pine, herbal, some biscuits. Hoppy citrus flavor, grassy, hay, herbal, biscuits. A bit too much on the malty side but still a decent beer.

Clear golden with a white head. Refreshing piney fruity flavours. Maybe a touch on the watery side for a 5% beer, but a very quaffable pale all the same. Good stuff.
