500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a good smooth white head. Good floral hoppy aroma. Citrus flavours, sherbet, plenty of hops, floral notes and perhaps a touch of honey. Well carbonated, perhaps a bit much so, but otherwise excellent.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[Bottle (500ml)] Pours copper-orange with a large fluffy off-white head. Lacing on the glass. Nice aroma, hoppy and fruity, right on style -- with tropical fruit and bready malt in the back. Flavour of tropical fruit, citrus hops, bready malt and a moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied. A solid APA, I really enjoyed it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2014/07/22 - Pours a clear orange-gold colour with a small, fizzy, white head that quickly dissipates. Negligible lacing. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits, pine, floral hops and caramel. Taste is citrus, pine, caramel, biscuit and some mildly spicy hops. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel, average carbonation and a crisp, mildly drying finish. Nicely balanced. Light enough to have a few on a hot day.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Pours a bright, orange with a one finger, near white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma has big, juicy notes of orange citrus, tropical fruits, mild pine and resin, and a touch of bread and spicy hop. Taste is bitter but balanced. Bread mixed with caramel, spicy hop, pine, citrus, and a but of resin. Medium body and carbonation. Clean in the mouth. Overall pretty tasty. A bit mote spicy on the taste than the big, juicy citrus aroma would lead you to believe.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 mL bottle from the LCBO, served in a stem glass. Pours clear golden with a moderate, off-white head that fades to a thin remnant and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has big notes of citrus with pine, caramel, biscuity malt and slight pepper. The flavour is balanced between a moderate hoppy bitterness with pine and citrus paired with a moderate caramel-biscuit malt sweetness. The finish is short and fairly clean with just a hint of hoppy bitterness. On the palate it is light in body with a dryish texture and average carbonation. Overall, an acceptable light and summery ale, but even for a pale ale, it lacks in body and hop character. The hops in particular could be ramped up substantially. 2014-07-16
