American Pale Ale
Golden in colour Chiron offers a superb balance of tart hops, juicy malt and tangy fruit while the lingering finish offers a hint of apricots and tangerines before a biscuity malt and hoppy finish.

Beautiful clear golden-light orange colour, with a one finger white head. Aroma is citrussy floral hops. Taste is sweet on the tongue with a fairly long bitter finsih. Nice oily texture which mixes well with the foamy head. Nice beer.

Single from the LCBO. Pours a light golden colour with an amber hue and not filtered to the max. White foamy head, decent retention and some lacing. Grainy malt with the citrus hops and mild pine needles. Expecting more of a punch from the taste, but no. Good dryness, but not much flavour. Very light hops, malts. More on the fizzy side, like a grapefruit club soda water drink. Maybe they forgot to add flavours to mine. I don’t know. Still decent overall.

Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Bright orange-gold, lively white head. Very fresh tropical fruit hop aroma with green leafy undertones. Lightly caramel malts, grapefruit, nettles, and a subtle licorice note that kept creeping in. Very drinkable, tasty brew.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Citrus-fruity, slightly exotic hoppy aroma with herbal spots, accompanied by delicately bready (cara-)malt. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Rounded malty base with present fruity and slightly herbal-spicy hops; medium-dry bitter-sweet finish with spicy and mildly fruity hops. Balanced and moreish Ale. 11.VIII.14

(Thornbridge Chiron) 500 ml bottle at home, poured into a tulip glass, ABV 5% Mostly clear body, golden orange in colour, with a good sized white head, thick enough, with good retention too, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Nice citrus aroma, mandarins, very hoppy and inviting. Great taste, lots of hops, very fresh tasting and refreshing, citrus, mandarins, tropical fruits too. Medium body, very nicely carbonated, mildly dry palate. Very tasty beer, great thirst-quencher too.

500 mL bottle from LCBO served cold in a tulip glass. Clear deep golden with a fluffy, off-white head. Tropical fruits, pine, grapefruit peel, restrained base malt support, juicy, nice. Medium body, very full carbonation. Tropical fruits, pine, citrus, biscuit malt, a touch thin; dry with reasonable bitterness and a long, juicy, expressive hop finish. Another lovely brew from this brewery!

Bottle. Light golden, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and light - some tropical fruitiness, piney - light grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light - some caramel and light tropical fruitiness, some piney - grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish, light caramel and faint fruitiness, some piney and grapefruit hoppyness. Really nice aroma, but flavor/finish lacks fruitiness and bitterness. OK APA - bit too much caramel

500ml bottle. Clear deep golden body, big white head with excellent retention. Aroma of passion fruit, caramel, orange candies, pineapple. Taste of caramel malt, right amount of herbal hops, citrus zest, acacia honey. Soft and silky. Wonderful.
