Bottle. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are melon, gooseberry and white grape juice. Spicy with oak barrel and floral notes. Flavours are sweet, fruity gooseberry with white grape and underlying biscuit. Peanuts with spicy, floral, herbal hops. Clean on the palate. Very decent.

On tap @ Cardinal. Unclear orange body with a dense off-white head. Medium strong aroma of light and soft malt with citric fruit. Flavor is nice and easy refreshing fruity, light malty, some caramel, peaches and apricot. OK body and a bit short in aftertaste. Nice and uncomplicated thirst quencher.

worldbeertaste (1670) - AUSTRIA - OCT 11, 2014
Medium gold with a thin, lasting, lacy, creamy head. Soft fruitiness with citrus, and a nice full creamy maltiness. Full oily dry body with soft carbonation. Sweet fully malty taste with nice fruit and a dry pine citrus finish. Delicious and inviting beer. Like other Thornbridge beers it is perfectly well balanced. As soon as I take a sip, I want more.

500ml bottle, honey gold color, with a Rocky pillowy white head, mild floral citrus, leafy hop, yeasty, doughy nose, with a lemon pie, lemon marmalade note, and a light toasted, caramel malt, faint fruity accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good panettone cake dough, faint mint leaf, mild flowery citrus, leafy, grassy piney, soapy hoppy character, with some fruity yeast, light zesty lemon, grapefruit rind, lemon pie flavours, within a faint grainy toasted, Munich malt undertone, leading towards a mild fruity yeastiness, zesty lemon rind, lingering citrus, leafy, grassy hop bitterness finish.

Pours a sudsy tangerine dream into the glass. For a pale ale, it is lost somewhere in the Atlantic: not quite hoppy enough for an APA but more aggressive than the English original. And I’m ok with that. The most interesting thing here is the floral citrus note -- lets get all wine critic fancy & call it orange blossom -- that sustains throughout each sip.

Nice pale ale, with perfect aroma.. However a bit too citrussy for my taste and a bit too dry. But nice.

Clear amber golden colour, firm white head. Aroma of hops, rather fruity, apricot, malts and straw. Sweet malty flavour, hops, light bitter. Malty finish, bit sweet, light tea biscuit. Nice!
