American Pale Ale
Golden in colour Chiron offers a superb balance of tart hops, juicy malt and tangy fruit while the lingering finish offers a hint of apricots and tangerines before a biscuity malt and hoppy finish.

On tap at The Bishop Arms Folkungagatan, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma of cereal malts, straw and a little corn. Flavour brings out dry cereal malts, straw, corn and some crackery malts. Very light and refreshing, with a nice balance. Pretty standard stuff, but well-made for what it is.

2014-12-11. Very lightly hazy bright orange body with a large creamy off-white head. 4+ Aroma has a lightly dusty quality to the malt, caramel tinged pale malt, modest hops. Flavour is moderately bitter throughout, pleasant sweet orange citrus notes, which grows as it warms up. Average plus bodied palate with good carbonation. 3+ Solid. A bit too cold at first. Bottle from the LCBO, Toronto

A clear yellow colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of hops with citrus and some sweet. The taste is bitter, dry with some fruity sweet. The aftertaste is very dry with some fruits.

Hazy golden color, medium to big sized off-white head. Wonderful grassy, piney aroma. Medium bitterness, a bit too light. Watery texture, lively carbonation. Great aroma, but taste is kind of disappointing.

Tao@Pudel and bottled previously. Fruity and citrusy. Poured pale golden with thin head. Medium bodied with pleasant carbonation. Quite close to a perfect APA. I still can’t get used to carbonation. As in most of the cases it is quite different when compared to stored bottled version. Next one to be bottled for comparison.

Alvar 11/2014. Well balanced APA. Maybe not the hoppiest one, still very enjoyable.

Amber in colour, capped by a frothy white head. An explosion of citrus on the nose, accompanied by pine. Slightly sticky mouthfeel. Very nice balance of hops and caramel malts in the tastes. Some sweet biscuits too. Overall, a beautifully balanced beer, that is right up my alley.

The beer pours a hazed golden orange colour with a genrous off-white head which dissipates slowly. The aroma is citrusy hops, pine, light fruit, and grass. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is pine, grains, and a punch of sweet citrusy hops at the end. Flavourful describes it nicely.

On tap @ The Local Pub, Athens Greece. Golden color with a thin white head. Aromas of pine, grass, lemon, citrus. Taste hoppy and bitter, with lemon, orange and pine at first, followed by a caramel malty backbone. Light body with medium carbonation.
