COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden summer ale made with a selection of American and Slovenian hops, Maris Otter Pale Ale and Crystal malts and infused with freshly picked Derbyshire Elderflowers. An initial aroma of elderflower and a clean and zesty flavor. Fresh and grassy hop characters and a light, refreshing bitter finish make this beer the ideal warm weather pint. The elderflower character lingers long after swallowing.

Cask at angleterre. Cloudy yellow body? Totally different than other ratings, white head. Aroma has bit honey, sweet malt, detergent. At this point I got new pint. So the new one: same cloudy yellow, white head. Aroma is floral, bit rhubarbish acidic light maltiness. Strange notes, familiar but cant get just what it is. Bit on the belowmaverage just because cant get hold of what is happening. Different though.

Cask. Clear golden, small head. Citrus, summer meadow and herbal notes in aroma. Sweetish honey with some floral notes in taste. Hints of spicyness and bitterness in finish.

(Cask at Angleterre, 20140801) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, spices, flowerness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. The spiciness induced by elderflowers took me by surprise. They didnít spoil the aroma but messed up the flavours.

August 28, 2013 - on draught at Euston Tap. Clear and refractive light brassy gold with a smallish bubbly white head. Golden ale aroma (heather ín honey) with extra honey sweetness and a bit of an acetone overtone to it. Taste follows; balanced, like a golden ale/bitter combo, honey, heather, straw and very light caramel sweetness, no alcohol. Light slick mouthfeel, mild carbonation, a medium finish with a slight amount of burnt harshness in the aftertaste - decent enough, I guess.

Tap@Pelt Trader, Cannon Street, London - Light gold with a small creamy white head. Floral and herbal hoppy notes, grassy, and can pick up the elderflower on the nose. Rather measured and light. Decent stuff.

Scopey (6730) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2012
Cask at Craft Beer Co, Brighton. It pours clear amber, with no head whatsoever. The nose is big on the floral, especially elderflower, sticky sweetness, perfumed, Potpourri and parma violets. The taste is strong elderflower, potpourri, light toast, grass, some bitterness and sweet white grape, with dryness in the finish. Medium body and completely flat. Perhaps not on top condition. Rather one-dimensional...the elderflower dominates.

Cask @ CPK. The pourís light gold with a small creamy white head. The nose is of honeycomb, floral spring meadow. Nice, sweet summery aromas. The taste is much the same. Pleasing light herbal hoppiness, some apricot fruits and grass. Light body, soft palate. Overall, a very nice beer. The elderflower isnít overpowering. Balanced.
