3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. A reddy brown coloured beer with a rich berry fruit aroma, typical of the style. The taste is malty and full with good berry fruits and decent alcohol. Chewy and mouthfilling. Very tasty and a tad vinuous. I liked.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Amber beer, slim head. Slight Brown Ale aroma. Strongly flavoured. Heavy sweetness, with some nut and some tripel-style taste - cereal and cake. Quite good, but heavaeee!

Cask (gravity) Leicester BF 2006. Ticks the boxes for me; ruddy-amber body, chunky berries, thick malts, a goos stodgy ESB, something to get your teeth into.
