330ml bottle - a dark brown pour, tan head, lacing throughout. Heady chocolate nose with a lot of fruit in there, smoky too. A little thin on the mouth, but a rich bitter taste makes up for it. Very good.

This beer is everything it says on the label, and it makes it for me the perfect accompaniment to so many tasty foods. This beer is all I want it to be, which is great for a cynic like me who reads all these descriptions hopefully, yet is usually disappointed. I would recommend this very strongly, because although it isn’t the best beer I have ever tasted, it has everything I want from a beer that I want to enjoy with a snack or a meal.
