3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 16, 2013
Medium white head. Hazy amber body with light carbonation. Wet straw and wood aroma with funky fruity milky notes. Dry-sweet milky sugary wild berry taste with spicy grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel, slightly slick. Dryish mealy fruity perfumy honey aftertaste with papery butterscotch notes. Odd. A bit disharmonic. Not bad, though. (0.4l draft @ Schouskjelleren, Oslo.)

UPDATED: APR 22, 2013 Not much aroma, but a very good yeasty flavour, not hugely carbonated. Quite refreshing, almost with the dryness of a gueuze but with an additional chalkiness and mild sour fruit or malt note.

Nice toasty finish. A bit sweet. The body’s light, the carbonation’s active on the palate. Overall, a pretty enjoyable beer. Pretty decent stuff.
