3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
One of the best pale ales to surface from Thornbridge in some time. Showcasing the Galaxy hop wonderfully with its golden, malty base. The thick, sweet body of the beer itself lends itself well to a such a lovely hoppy ale. Elements of sage and tangerine characterise the finish what is a worryingly quaffable beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at CASK Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico. Not too impressed by this, the Galaxy hop did not stand out particularly for me. Poured pale amber with loose white head; muted fruit aroma; soft, almost soapy in the mouth, with flowery hops and a gentle but sustained light biscuity body with some pepper towards the finish.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London. Slightly hazy golden color. Aromas of lemon, pepper and cumin. Taste of tart fruits, honey and tropical fruity hops. This was last pint of a day I wasn’t at sharpest at this point, but still I was impressed by the disdinct tropical taste.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Queen Adelaide Northampton. A golden beer with a white head and lacing. A very inviting hoppy aroma with good sticky citrus notes. Tropical fruit in the mouth. Good lemony bitterness. Good length. A good hoppy beer which I made my Dad drink two days later and he loved.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask in Craft Beer Co. - clear pale yellow. Nose is grapefruit and citrus peel. Body is very light and on the taste it is really just a very light grapefruity beer. However, like the simplicity of it and prefer it to the house Mikkeller lager, which is a bit heavier. Finish is bitter and a touch dry.

16th August 2011
On tap at Craft Beer. Thanks to Tom and Ian for alerting me to the reappearance of this beer that I had thought I had missed for good! Clear gold beer, tidy white head. Light semi dry palate. Lightly bitter with pithy orange and peel acridness. No real tropical fruit here, maybe a trace of peach. Bitter aftertaste. Not bad at all but not the stunner I was hoping for and inevitably after much seeking out the reality was a slight let down.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
August 16, 2011 - cask at Craft Beer Co. Slight hazy bubbly gold with a fairly long-lasting frothy/creamy off-white head. Light but very pleasant somewhat pear-sweet malt profile with plenty of mid-level acidic bitterness, not sure the variety (juicy, acidic, catty - 7+). Taste is very well-balanced, very light and sessionable - someone said "sorbet" or "sherbert" and now that’s all I can think of - dang; tasted good though. Mmmmm - beer good! Some lemon, decent acidity and carbonation, light body - nice grapefruit bitter finish, very very drinkable.
