4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 harrisoni (11025) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2011
From mini cask at The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Clear gold colour with lasting bubbly ivory head. Wow now that is unusual. Bit of nettle bit of tea. Tropical fruits and stone fruit too. Really unusual finish like peppery hop and intense fruit. Fruit salad. Just completely floored me. Not many beers completely surprise me these days but this one did. Single hop and its a fruity peppery bitter stunner.

Cask handpull, The Crown, Beeston, Notts (rated to Radiohead, ’The Reckoner’). Pale and brilliant, lace like milk. Mint leaf and tinned lychees aroma. Sucking on a tomato leaf, stewed green character; whipped palate like lemon mousse, rich tea dunked in Darjeeling, fruit salad with lychee and Galia melon, more mint leaf. Huge silky balance. Doubt I’ll have a better beer all day, but you never know....(I didn’t).

Cask at The Craft Beer Co. Citrusy, herbal aroma. Very zesty and a bit of soft fruit and pale malt. Really juicy and zesty with a lot of tropical character as well. Really damn tasty - unique tropical flavour.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Queen Adelaide Northampton. A golden beer with a white head and lacing. A very inviting hoppy aroma with good sticky citrus notes. Tropical fruit in the mouth. Good lemony bitterness. Good length. A good hoppy beer which I made my Dad drink two days later and he loved.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2011
Cask, Sheffield Tap.
Peppery mango. If Thornbridge stopped brewing Kipling and kept brewing Galaxia I’d be sad and happy. Like a bunny rabbit that knows deep down that, as much as it brings smiles to be stroked by pink girlies, it was born to be braised with mustard
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Leighton (7183) - London, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2012
Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours a lightly cloudy gold with a very tight, white foam cap. Citrus, wet grass and piss in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with juicy cat pee, ripe tropical fruits, some straw and white sugar. Light bodied with soft, fine carbonation. Sweet, sticky-juicy finish, more pee, some citrus. Very nice beer. If the condition was a touch better this would be a knock-out.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ekstedt (4596) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 10, 2011

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 HogTownHarry (5713) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2011
August 16, 2011 - cask at Craft Beer Co. Slight hazy bubbly gold with a fairly long-lasting frothy/creamy off-white head. Light but very pleasant somewhat pear-sweet malt profile with plenty of mid-level acidic bitterness, not sure the variety (juicy, acidic, catty - 7+). Taste is very well-balanced, very light and sessionable - someone said "sorbet" or "sherbert" and now that’s all I can think of - dang; tasted good though. Mmmmm - beer good! Some lemon, decent acidity and carbonation, light body - nice grapefruit bitter finish, very very drinkable.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Miksu (4570) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JAN 15, 2012
Cask at Craft Beer Co, London. Slightly hazy golden color. Aromas of lemon, pepper and cumin. Taste of tart fruits, honey and tropical fruity hops. This was last pint of a day I wasn’t at sharpest at this point, but still I was impressed by the disdinct tropical taste.
