Bottle 0,50L. Light brown - yellow, hazy cloudy colour with creamy white head. Very hoppy aroma: grapefruit, mango, elderberries and little caramel. Fruity aroma goes hand in hand with hoppy bitterness. Moderate bitter taste turns into heavy bitter aftertaste. This beer is very well balanced and alcohol is hidden, too.

500ml bottle from IPB.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with medium white foamy head.
Aroma : Sharp and piny hops with citrusy notes. Nice malt. Light caramel.
Taste : Sharp and astringent hops with piny notes. Citrusy and fruity. Finish astringent with light malt and hints of alcohol.
Overall : Slightly disappointing as I’m always expecting a lot from Thornbridge. A bit heavy, quite warm with the light alcohol bite and the astringency. Nice hoppy bouquet but it feels unnecessarily heavy. Still good but not great as many other like Kipling.

Smaken går i samma linje, måttlig sötma, rejäl men ganska snäll beska. Riktigt god och pigg och fräsch humle.

Aroma of Resin, floral and hops, could sniff this one all day, so pleasant. Pours a hazy yellow colour with thick foam head which lingers for awhile. lovel bitter aftertaste, it really is a hop machine. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied with lively carbonation. A pleasant experience, well return to this again very soon.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2013 My Bottom Line:
This dry IPA’s citrusy hop resins are as aromatic as they are flavorful and bitter, building a polished, compelling example of the style.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam covers the misty blond.
-This is not very complex, but it is a beautiful hop vehicle.
-Mouthfeel is svelte and bubbly, which makes this a very drinkable brew.
-Malts support the engaging hop profile, but don’t do much more.
-Even though the bottle says "Imperial IPA", this tastes and feels more like a regular-strength IPA to my North American palate.
-The more I drink of this brew, the more I love it.
