The Australian hops (Galaxy, Topaz) shine here with their bright gooseberry and mango flavors coming through strongly. Slight stickiness in the body, but finishes dry. Definitely has that buttered biscuit malt flavor balanced by a distinct bitterness.

Tap. Pours golden with a thin white head that laces nicely. Faint pine and citrus on the nose. Big malty bite fades to distinctly British hop profile. Fuggles? Pine and citrus flavors take a back seat to the malt. Mild lingering hop bitterness.

Light yellow colour with medium head. Some lacing. Quite strong aroma of citrus, grapefruit zest with some diacetyl. Taste is very bitter, full of citrus. Soft carbonation. Low to medium body. It’s not as good as I supposed.

Bottle - cloudy golden colour with huge white head, very lively. Aroma of citrus (lemon) hops and pine, with biscuity malts. Similar in the taste, nice blast of hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, quite carbonated. Quite straight forward and pretty good.

500ml Bottle. This pours a very light yellow body with a medium thick white head (very similar to its sister Kipling). Its aroma is more biscuit than Kipling with a strong follow up of citrus (lemon), mango, and passion fruit. Its taste follows the scent quite closely but it has a sweet start and a dry bitter finish - much more so than Kipling. Top top pint!!
