Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Amber, slight haze. No head. Very herbaceous aroma, OK condition, lots of orange crystallized fruits. Very enjoyably though. Very nice jellied fruit. The herby, nettle hop is great. Not too syrupy. 838416 3.9/5.0 bottle euston tap 2009 harvest. Yes it has the fresh hop leaf flavour. Love the sherbert hop fresh leaf aroma. 8quid a bottle is a tad steep but the life in the beer is amazing. Proper fresg hop. Perfect condition from the bottle. More rounded than the regular less syrupy. Best ipa from uk in some time.

Hazy gold with a lovely film of head that stacks up at the edge of the glass. Very fresh and green hoppy aromas twinned with the sweetness of honeydew melon and tingles of lemon. In the mouth is sends prickles running all over my tongue. with sweet mango fruits and a sweet honey coating on the tongue. The coating turns to a harsh and very long bitter finish of intensely dry hops. Lovely fresh beer with a real kick. Plenty of heady alcohol that doesn’t impair the flavours at all. Very fresh and light but WOW that is hoppy.

500ml bottle thanks very much to madmitch76 for throwing this beauty in as a bonus. 2008 harvest. Pours a hazy orange with yellow hue, medium off white head, minimal lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, slight floral, pine, grass, and yeast. I started drinking this before I read the description, so first tastes were a bit of a shock. Once I read the label, I realized exactly what I was drinking. This is quite a nice brew. Wet hopped, bottle conditioned with saison yeast, giving it a pretty unique character. Hop profile is very flavorful and enjoyable, slight tartness from the yeast, and a nice malt backbone for some balance. Mouthfeel is slightly slick and finishes slightly dry and bitter. Very nice.

[500 ml bottle from The Bottle, York]. Thornbridge produce some great ales, I was really looking forward to this one - it poured an extremely hazy dark yellow or light amber, with no rising carbonation and a thin head. The aroma is hops, green vegetables and grass - very much reminded me of a big American IPA. The taste is lovely, dry hops, rich and with a lasting alcohol finish. Despite this, it really doesn’t taste 7.7%, the balance is beautiful, it’s incredibly smooth and drinkable. Really something, certainly one of the best UK IPA’s of the current generation. [16062010]

500ml bottle. Pours a light orange with a small head. Aroma is orange, piney hops and a hint of malt. More of the same on the taste, starts with ornage, before a big hit of resin. Medium bitter finish with a strong after taste of hops. Spot on.

Dudar (103) - Minsk, BELARUS - FEB 3, 2011
Appearance: Poured hazy light copper with high carbonation. Head was moderate and had good retention, leaving attractive lacing as the beer level went down. Smell: Piney, grassy and fruity hops, a little citrusy. Couldnt smell any malt notes behind this big wave. Taste, mouthfeel: Huge, soft, rounded and overwhelming hop character, grassy, resinous, tropical fruit, faint grapefruit. Medium body, alcohol is not apparent, quite sweet (actually appreciated to balance the hops). Finish a bit tangy resinous hoppy mouthcoat, sticky sweetness. Highlights: A treat for hopheads.

Draught at La Fine Mousse, Paris
Hazy blond color, with generous creamy head. Strong hoppy aroma, sweaty, a bit musky, then fruity. Smooth mouthfeel, good malt, moderate sweetness, citrusy hop; strong but balanced. Excellent.
