Very nice bottle design. Pours hazy pale yellow with small fine head. Citrus and lots of tropical fruit in the nose. Starts with lots of aroma hops, aroma of tropical fruit, really lots of tropical fruit, hehe. Middle part has citrus and grapefruit as well as some herbs. Goes into a hoppy bitter finish with lots of tropical fruits and some pine wood. Awesome stuff, maaaan!

Bottle - clear bright sparkling yellow, heavy carbonation with large white head. Strong citrus - grapefruit aroma. Good on tongue and in mouth. A stronger alcohol tasting IPA with citrus - grapefruit lasting feel. Nice beer.

Golden color frothy white head. Dry slightly hoppy nose with mangoes and citrus notes. The mouth is fairly dry, but lack character and a bit astringent. Kinda odd finish. Ok, but not the greatest

Keg at the Reliance, Leeds. Previously had in bottle from work. One of the first really good, not weak IPAs to hit the UK market. And still one of the best. Relatively clear, but hazier than your average Thornbridge pale ale. Dry, fizzy, good head retention. Orange, grapefruit, grassy. Not too dissimilar from Pliny the Elder, though not quite as fruity, it definitely has a similar crispness to it. Has a tangy, lingering bitterness. A classic.

50cl bottle @ home from Bertís Bierhuis Biltstraat, Utrecht. Body is opalescent yellow, head is medium, white, fizzy, mostly lasting, excellent lacing. Nose is pineapple, flavor is grapefruit, tropical fruits, lemon peel, quinine. Medium sweet, medium to heavy hoppy bitter. Finish is long lasting tropical fruits and citrus hoppy medium to heavy bitter. Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation. Easy, refreshing, beginning and finishing taste is quite the same, very tasty, great hoppy beer.

Draught 1/2 pint (keg) at The Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, on 13-Aug-2015 - Thornbridge tap takeover as part of London Beer City 2015. Hazy orange colour with a small off white head. Aroma of fruit, so e citrus notes, pine and alcohol. Medium body and carbonation. Flavour of caramel, bitter grapefruit, tropical fruits and alcohol. Bitter finish. I was really looking forward to this one but was a little disappointed with ghe balance.

Aroma is soft plum and pear notes. Has a fine foggy body with minimal head. Flavour is okay pear and hop flavours but they are not prominent. Itís surprisingly easy to drink given the alcohol. Itís a very drinkable strong brew.
