Sampled @ European Beer Festival, Valby. Almost black beer with no head. Very good roasted malt flavours in this one.

Rating #5from the european beer festival 2008. Looks like a flat coca cola. Light roasted malty aroma with some chocolate in there. Has the bitterness of a classic lager again with some chocolate in there. Not an imp stout after my head.

Medium coarseish brown head. Deep dark red barely translucent body. Earthy roasty licorice aroma with notes of plums. Dry-sweet powerful roasty earthy fruity licorice taste with alcoholic burnt chocolate notes. Balanced and harmonic. Dry earthy wooden fruity licorice aftertaste. Very, very nice. (0.1l taster from cask at EBF ’08.)

Cask @ European Beerfistival. Pours black with a tanned head. Thin body. Some toasted malts. Hints of peated malts. Hints of residual sugars. Low carbonation. Lacks a bit of everything but water.
