4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle served in a pint glass.
A: Pours a pale yellow color, forming a big and bubbled white head. Great retention and tons of lingering and soapy lacings left in the glass
S: Great notes of tropical fruits and pine. Watermelon, grapefruit, pine, sweet pale grains and earthy yeasts
T: Follows the nose. Slightly sweet upfront. Notes of watermelon, grapefruits, pine. Quite smooth with a medium but very pleasant bitterness in the end. A bit earthy and bready. Pale Ale style yeasts. Very light to a 7.4% ABV, no sign of alcohol
M: Medium and creamy body. Medium carbonation. Sweet pale malts + pine and citrus fruits in the aftertaste. However, its bitterness is not persistent
O: Excellent drinkability. Great British IPA with some American character

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours light orange a bit cloudy with a minimal head. Fruity aroma. Bitter ending. Surprisingly full body for the light colour. Tilted towards caramel. Fresh for an imperial IPA. Decent Imperial.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled 50cl. Purchased in Drinks of the World in Zürich. Remarkably pale appearance. Biscuity pale malts and resinous hops throughout. My type of IPA.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle. BBE 13.08.15 Aroma of pines, iron, brie cheese and old socks. Looks like a premum lager - golden with a thick, creamy head and load os carbonation. Sweet and hoppy, yet bitter. Sweetness prevails. Slightly off-puting taste of alcohol and poridge. Fruity and with a loads of citrus fruit. Malt is also strong in aroma and taste. Smooth texture. Medium body. Mixed feelings with this one - parts of it I love, and parts of it I really do not like. I doubt that I will go for another bottle. If on tap - maybe.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden, refreshing, full aroma, strong, very tasty, rich, complex, fruity, mainly grapefruit.....The only bad thing about it is that it killed theirs normal IPA for me.. It tastes like better version of that one.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly hazy pale gold (on the first glass, undisturbed straight from the cellar - the second glass had more fines, and was more of a cloudy deep gold) with a fat finger of fluffy white head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, spotty lacing. Nose is pine and tropical fruit, grapefruit and lemon, light sweet malt, faint floral. Taste is similar, starting sweet but rapidly overtaken by moderate bitter, perhaps a little more floral presence as the pint progresses. Medium body, moderate sustained carbonation, and a dry-ish finish.
Decently balanced English-style IIPA - which is to say, bitter without being a palate-wrecking hop bomb. Nice hop presence that isn’t overwhelming, and a very well-integrated ABV that never intrudes. There’s definite citrus, but not to the extent one typically finds in A/IIPA’s, and there’s a floral component that lightens the impact, too. Worth trying, and I’d have another should the opportunity present.
