This beer has a promising delicious smell of fruity hops. The taste delivers, fruity, bitter and with a nice malty backbone with a touch of caramel. Balanced and tasty.

Aroma: citrus, caramel, mango Appearance: pale urine, medium foamy head Taste: heavy bitterness, medium sourness, slight sweetness Palate: average carbonation, long finish, thick texture, full body Initially prickly sour with fruity notes, mid-bottle malty and resinish, heavy astringent bitterness with striking citrus flavour at the end. A specialty. Drank both from the tap and bottle (the latter reviewed)

Tastes like an IPA that has crossed the ocean and sat in a cellar for a while. Unremarkable, and bordering on astringent. Pours pale golden with ok head and lacing. Light citrus, light sour and astringent finish. Tap at Pizza Paradiso Georgetown.

500 mL bottle Appearance: Hazy golden with a small white head, suprisingly lasting acceptable and leaving a moderate amount of lacing. Aroma: Pineapple, citrus, straw , pale malts and a light peppery note (maybe the yeast) Taste: On he sweet side for an IPA and i’s directly up front, Sweet honey, pale mits and also sweet tropuical pinapple luckilly this followed by some Grapefruit and Piney bitterness. Ending with a bittersweet finish and bit of sweet resinous pineapple aftertase. Medium body, soft carbonation. Slightly too sweet sarting IPA,but sill a good one.

666ale (54) - Edimburg, SCOTLAND - JUL 8, 2014
Pale golden double india pale ale in the american tradition with a big hoppy character, citric and spicy notes. What makes the difference in their beers is the softness of the body.

neuromatt (1107) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 4, 2014
500 mL bottle from the LCBO, served in a snifter. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small white head that fades quickly, leaving a moderate amount of fine lace. The nose has notes of pineapple, citrus, straw and subtle pepper, along with pale malts. The flavour is moderately sweet up front, with notes of honey, biscuity pale malts and tropical fruit. It acquires a medium hoppy bitterness through the middle with citrus, resin and tropical fruit notes coming through. It closes out with a long bitter-sweet finish. On the palate it is medium in full with a syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Overall, a very sweet IPA. The hops are nice, but the malts are almost cloyingly sweet. 2014-07-04
