A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Bottle @home tasting General Election 2015 (rating backlog) Pours yellow/golden thick firm white head. Nose is lemon, caramel and a touch of spice. Taste is citrus fruits, caramel/toffee and it has a slightly sweet after taste but does not taste sweet when the beer is in the mouth.

5.9%ABV. IPA. Poured out of the bottle a dirty blonde. 6ºSRM. Nose has pine and grassy aromas. There is a floral component to the nose that suggests lavender, and some kind of citrus blossom like grapefruit or orange blossoms. There are also some wheaty, doughy aromas. Mouthfeel is soapy and carbonated. There is a nice malty body that has nice graham cracker, cracked barley and some bready and slightly floury flavors. The hops are pronounced and have good pine, grass and resin flavors. The finish is medium and lightly bitter.

Light golden color, crystal clear. Flowery and citrus nose. Starts with a hint of sweetness, with a nice hop character - citrus/floral with nice hop bitterness in the finish.

Pours gold and clear, so very clear. Light white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and citrus. To taste similar hops, citrus and a little malt to even it out. Bitterness of orange peel gives lasting aftertaste.Moderate carbonation. Really nice.

Medium hop aroma of Passion fruit and lime, low crackers and malty aroma. Pale gold but quite turbid. Off-white below average foam, not persistent. Medium high american hop flavours whet it warms up. Stone friuts and grape fruit flavour, medium low. Top fermetation profile, fruity esters and low wild fruits. Medium low carbonation. Balanced to hoppy character. Medium bitterness, balanced by malty notes.

0.5 l bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Very pale yellow colour and clear. Aroma is few malts and lots of hops. Taste has also hops but not enourmously. This feels somewhat light and easy to drink. Be careful, though, this has 5,9% ABV. Maybe the 19th century India Pale Ale was not as pale as this but this is still quite nice modern interpretation of the style.

Birra molto fresca, giallo dorata limpidissima con poca schiuma. Aroma erbaceo, bevuta amarognolo. Molto leggera e liscia da bere.
