Bottle 500ml. A clear golden colour with a white head. An aroma of malt and grapefruit. The taste is medium sweet and bitter. A medium body, oily texture and a medium long duration.

Much is said about this beer. It is all down to personal taste, but this beer is exceptional. Rich juicy citric aroma and floral fruity initial taste, this is a light golden strong ipa ale, with a powerful deep hoppy finish. This ale has won almost every beer award, and justifiably continues too win awards, don’t be put off by some individuals who this beer is not a match for, definitely try this one. If you love this beer its worth trying Marstons "Old Empire" IPA which is similar strength.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours golden/yellow with a crisp white head. Aroma has mostly citrus and floral hops, backed up by cookie dough malt. Taste is as aroma but quite bland, though crisp and doesn’t live up to what the aroma promised. Quite thin and watery.

Halmgul. Ganska ren i stilen. Dansk, smakar som all annan ipa från Danmark. Dom har verkligen något gemensamt.

Bottled. Pours pale yellow with a big white head. Smells and tastes creamy grassy hoppy with a clear bitter finish.

Bottle. A clear and sparkling dark yellow beer, with a large, frothy, lightly lacing, fully lasting, white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty (biscuits, toasted bread), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, lemon, grass, flowers), with notes of honey and all kinds of exotic fruits, perhaps a touch of tea. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, dry, very long finish with moderate bitterness. A great British IPA, mightily hopped, but refined (a rarity). In the end it doesn’t even feel 100% IPA, but it feels 100% a great beer

Pours hazy pale gold with a small lacy head. Strong aroma of fruit and pine. Balanced flavour with a nice hoppy finish. Very smooth mouthful and a damn good IPA.

Very balanced citrus and sweet fruit combo coming to my nose. Head left nice lacing, colour is hazy bright yellow. Taste has some grape, citrus fruits but aftertaste has some sweet notes. Balanced beer, excellent opener for spring!

Light colored like a lager. Stiff head. Grassy fragrance. Thin body, but with a nice aromatic hoppiness, well balanced with the sugar and the fruit. Nice beer.

Very good IPA! Quite easy, still complex and powerful. Well balanced bitterness.
