A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

From 500ml bottle. Pour golden yellow with a head that disappears after a time. Soft carbonation. Refreshing, fruity taste, mangos and lemon. Very good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours clear pale golden colour, much like a Pilsner with foamy bubbly white head which soon settles. Aroma is grassy, grapefruit, citrus zest and a bit of mango. Taste is initially mild smooth sweet then noticably clean bitter which is quite long lasting. Quite bubbly and slightly slick, Overall a nice IPA

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2016 Served in shaker @ 5-6 deg celsius from 500 ml bottle BBE 07.04.17 Pours pale with a moderate head of foam, which dissipates rather rapidly. The aroma is earthy and besides makes me think of pine resin, hay, grass and bitter hops. The taste is bitter, somewhat citrusy and metallic, without any appreciable sweetness and hardly any balance. The bitterness, which appears to be the dominant taste characteristic, lingers on uncomfortably for a whole while as an aftertaste. Depending on Thornbridge's idea of shelf life, the beer might not be fresh and might have lost some character on that account, but I am nevertheless not at all impressed.

Served in a tulip from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is citrus hops, earth, grass and weird damp cellar (???) notes. Taste is mostly bitter lemon and orange peel, very long lingering sharp bitter aftertaste. Very dry medium body with minimal carbonation. Unbalanced brew with too much bitterness, so not very enjoyable.

Tiszta és eléggé halványsárga nem kiemelkedő küllemmel. Illata fás, száraz gyógynövényes enyhe maláta harmóniával. Csípős közepesen erős keserűség száraz vékony testtel. Utóíze zöld füves a hideg komlózástól ezt pici hibának könyvelem. Végén tartós keserűség társul hamus kenyeres komponensekkel. Nem rossz de semmi kiemelkedő.

Hyvin kaunis ja maistuva. Hieman hikinen tuoksu ja tasapaksu loppua kohti. Sessio-olut paremmasta päästä.
