A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Bottle shared with (and courtasy of) Veitafan. Has a slightly dark straw-yellow colour with a small white head. The aroma is quite fruity with tropical fruits, citrus, pale mat, hay and a good dose of hops. The flavour is sweeter but with more grass and hops, and some sweet corn. A little bit dry in the end. Has a slick mouthfeel, and a medium bitterness. A well-balanced and solid IPA.

Bottle - 500ml. Hazy blond body with a thin white foamy/creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty and piney hints. Its sharp, fresh hoppy taste carries herbal and citrusy notes. Ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Not bad.

Color dorato leggermente torbo con finissssssssima schiuma. Al naso è abbastanza intensa, con un bel esotico. In bocca scivola via bene, che si potrebbe bere a ettolitri, però non è molto accattivante...

over all a bit of a mild beer. Mild in bitterness and aroma. Well made but was looking for somehing a little tastier and interesting than what I got.

Cask SR & Henglers. Another example of a brewer losing its way on the mass market. A pale shadow of Jaipur as it was. No discernable nose or palate. Taste of apricots and grapefruit which used to dominate this ale has been replaced by dull grass and marzipan sweetness. No doubt due to the hop content being compromised by inferior, cheaper examples. The Pale Rider curse has struck again. As an aside the Kipling poured in the SR was even worse. I will give Thornbridge benefit of the doubt as I suspect the beer was too "green" to be objectively reviewed.

Chopp. Unclear orange golden colour, white small head. Pleasant sweet exotic fruity hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is fresh with lots of exotic fruity hoppiness, pine, caramel, some malt and a good bitterness.
