Cask: Regular. Also available bottled.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Cask SR & Henglers. Another example of a brewer losing its way on the mass market. A pale shadow of Jaipur as it was. No discernable nose or palate. Taste of apricots and grapefruit which used to dominate this ale has been replaced by dull grass and marzipan sweetness. No doubt due to the hop content being compromised by inferior, cheaper examples. The Pale Rider curse has struck again. As an aside the Kipling poured in the SR was even worse. I will give Thornbridge benefit of the doubt as I suspect the beer was too "green" to be objectively reviewed.

Chopp. Unclear orange golden colour, white small head. Pleasant sweet exotic fruity hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is fresh with lots of exotic fruity hoppiness, pine, caramel, some malt and a good bitterness.

Drank a 500 cl bottle. Beautiful pale appearance with a nice thick head. Very dry finish as a result of the high bitterness, very hoppy but without the strong citrus aroma of popular American IPA’s. Would prefer it if the taste would linger for a bit.

From 500 ml bottle, poured a clear golden amber with a small white head. Aromas of citrus and pine. Taste shows passionfruit, grapefruit, lemon and pine resin. Good bite of hoppy bitterness comes through. Decent body and a nice long palate. Overall, pretty good.

Cask@moonunderthewater, Wolverhamton (JDW). Hazy gold colour, small headt. Light citrus aroma with a grapefruit taste. Quite smooth. Good but not as good as all the hype.

Good grapefruit background, but fails to impress. Had on tap, but was rather flat, which emphasizes the English IPA background.

Draft THe Rover. Helt OK men inte tillräckligt mycket humlesak och ganska kort eftersmak men med den där beskan jag gillar.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden in color with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrus, cats pee and more exotic fruits. Fruity, citrus and slightly sweet in flavour. Pleasant to drink.

The head is medium, the body gold-brown. It smells strong-hoppy-creamy. The taste is intensive hoppy, later more mild. Overall medium. 11/10/9/10/-/10

(on tap) Hazy yellow amber with loose white head. Lovely floral aroma. Medium body, medium carbonation, nice mouthfeel. Lovely fresh floral and tangy start with an excellent bitter finish. Overall an excellent beer.
